What is Journey Yoga?

Based out of Rockton, Ontario, Journey Yoga offers community classes for the local neighbourhood and beyond.  With a heart for sharing the joys and healing benefits of yoga, Journey Yoga classes are accessible and scaled to meet all levels of yoga experience.  The energizing class style not only helps to build strength, balance, stability, and mindfulness, but the welcoming atmosphere allows for a light-hearted space for community connection.

What to expect at Journey Yoga?

Promoting breath awareness, mindful movement and physical well-being, Journey Yoga is a holistic approach to yoga. During classes practitioners are encouraged to cultivate self-awareness, inner strength, and relaxation through a variety of asanas (poses), pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, and philosophy.

Rebecca - My Journey to Yoga

For me, yoga is a new experience each day – a challenge, a triumph, a humbling, and an adventure of self-discovery. What began as a fitness routine has evolved into a profound journey of mind, body, and spirit transformation that I continue to walk every day. Yoga has become a refuge, a space for healing, growth, and moving forward. Embracing its transformative power, I embarked on a 200-hour teacher training, which further deepened my practice and understanding. Today, I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my passion, knowledge, and energy with others, guiding them on their own unique paths toward balance and well-being, in a nurturing, healthful, and meaningful way.
